About

Hi I'm Kristen!

I am first and foremost a psychotherapist. I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from USC years ago, and today I run a private practice in Newport Beach that I truly love. Beyond my work as a therapist, I’m also a writer, functional health enthusiast, sourdough baker, and all-around creative.

I’m passionate about tradition, creativity, and the many ways we can express ourselves through both. My hope is that this space not only reflects those passions, but also inspires you to embrace them in your own life.

I grew up in a Lebanese home (third generation) right here in Newport Beach. As an only child, I spent much of my time with my mom while my dad worked. From her, I learned the value of the arts, tradition, holistic wellness, femininity, and hard work—lessons that shaped my life and continue to guide me. We filled our days with period films, the art of letter-writing, and a commitment to putting health first. Today, I cherish the wisdom of the old world while also embracing the opportunities of modern life.

Through this blog, I hope to share reflections on wellness, creativity, and relationships while weaving in the timeless values of tradition, artistry, and perseverance.

Thanks so much for visiting—I’m glad you’re here.
